For instance, on J Lo’s Rebirth album she does a song with Fat Joe. That one song shows up by it self as the Rebirth album and the other songs off that album show up as a second Rebirth album.
Make sure that all of the info in the tags match, that everything’s spelled the same, that sort of thing. Just select the whole album and change the info all at once.
I would like to do this for all the folders at once without having to change each folder individually.
You can not do this to the folders. This information comes from the files id3 tags.
You wold have to edit the files id3 information so that it displayed correctly in the folders.
If this is windows and you have windows media player 11, you can go to your library and highlight all the files at once. Then right click and select advanced tag editor and fill in the missing information. Make sure you don’t highligt a group with diffrent attributes, like diffrent artist or album.
If you are making your own mp3’s from cd’s make sure it can retrieve the album information online. Then this information will be added automatically when creating new mp3’s.
Here is a shell extension that will add id3 tag editing to Windows Explorer:

Here are some other id3 tag editors:

If you are on a different platform, just try google.
As this info is in each individual file, there is no magic bullet to make them all correct in one wave of a wand. I had once tried a unility that claimed to be able to update the id3 tags automaticaly, from it’s database. But it failed a majority of the time and often gave the wrong information. That was a ugly mess.

I have a band and we’re about to finish recording our songs for our EP Album. We’re unsigned. We’re really eager to sell them online, but we want to get the copyright first. How long does it take to get the copyright from the moment you send the songs to the copyright office? How long does it take to get the confirmation? Do you know of any other way we can get the copyright as fast as possible?
Under United States law, you hold the copyright to any original material that you produce effectively from the minutes you produce the material.
Registering a copyright merely provides an easy way to prove your claim if someone violates your copyright. However, even if you did not register your copyright you can still win a case of copyright infringement against someone as long as you can prove that you created the material first and that the other person copied it.
To register your copyright, go to http://www.copyright.gov
There is a fee and, no, they won’t go any faster, but you don’t really need them to go faster. As already stated, you already hold the copyright on your material and can immediately put "Copyright 2008" on your material.
Im looking for a CREDIBLE website that features all hip hop albums from the past to the present. Some good ones i found including hiphopdx and rollingstone unfortunately does not review the old albums.

I am doing a project on Elvis Presley and I need to make an album cover to put all of my work in. I’d like to make it life-size, so could you give me a link of where measurements for an album would be?
17×17
I am making some CD’s and I want to make a sort of album artwork like when you buy the CD’s there is kind like a picture inside the case..What are the measurements??
This webpage is amazing, it’s got diagrams with the proper dimensions and everything.
I just got some old photo albums from my Mom and the pictures are very hard to remove, she even tore some trying to get them out. The photo albums are the old kind that the photo stick to the page and cellophane covers them. These are great old family photos and I want to save them, what is the best way to get them out without destroying the pictures.
Try using dental floss… slide it behind the pictures and gently and evenly pulll from top to bottom of picture with both hands. Good luck.
I recently recovered my computer and Itunes is telling me there is a syncing error(-48) i can still drag songs onto my ipod but the album covers that appear on itunes dont appear on my iPod. A little help please, its a 3rd gen.
iPodRip is the best program that recovers your songs and playlists. Don’t search for a software that is able to recover songs, playlists and even photos from your iPod. iPodRip supports all iPods ( it supports even iPod Touch ) and iPhones and the best part is that you don’t have to be an expert to recover them, the recovery process is very simple and intuitive and you can recover them very easy and quickly.
