  • What are the 5 most important Grunge albums from a music history perspective AND that you also find AMAZING?

    Posted by admin on February 27th, 2010 and filed under albums | 5 Comments »

    NOTE – This question has a 3 step process.

    Step 1: Pick the most significant grunge albums from a music history perspective;

    Step 2: For each album noted in Step 1, eliminate all albums that you do not find the ENTIRE album COMPLETELY and unequivocally AMAZING;

    Step 3: Now, look at the albums that survived Step 2, and PICK THE BEST 5 ALBUMS out of that set. List those albums below.

    1. Dry as a bone/Rehab Doll – Green River
    2. Superfuzz Bigmuff Plus Early Singles – Mudhoney
    3. 8 Way Santa – Tad
    4. Even If and Especially When – Screaming Trees
    5. Gentlemen – The Afghan Whigs
