I want to restore my computer completely,all my itunes and album art work are on my external hard drive which also needs to be restored somehow. How do I do this so that if or when I reinstall my media , It will still be organized?

You could try saving your i tunes library to a CD and then put it back on your computer after you restore it.

   Burn the files to CD in "data" format, then they will always be available to install at your convenience.
   To format an external drive should be done by browsing the files and folders in "C:" drive, select the external drive and choose "format", this is just a logical assumption based on other drive properties. I do not assume liability for any misadventure it may cause.
