this is my favorite …
this is my favorite whitney song! its her best vocal too… alot of people don’t agree with me but i think her voice lost power on the bodyguard soundtrack, she just didn’t belt the same and didn’t have the same timbre and color.

Well when your voice isnt the greatest then yes writing does help because you write music that complements your voice. Whitney on the other hand could sing anything, she relied on her voice 100% to make her who she is today. I will agree most of Whitney’s original songs were very consistent with the time (party, love, inspirational songs) but if anyone other than Whitney wouldve tried to sing it, it wouldn’t have been a hit. And thats why Whitney is in a class of her own

i heard this song for the 1st time in my boyfriends car when we were on our way to bar to have a chat about weather we were going to break up or not as were yalking all i could remeber was this song and i knew i didnt wanna break up and we stayed together and are now getting married this new years eve you could that this song made me relise what i was about to give up and i didnt wanna loose what i had
