  • Why does iTunes always mix up my album covers?

Posted by admin on September 7th, 2011 and filed under album covers | 3 Comments »

Whenever I plug my iPod/iPhone it always mixes up the album covers, so the songs don’t have the correct album cover! How do I stop this from happening and do I put it back to normal?
    Thanks!

When you check the info in iTunes for that song, does it reflect the correct album cover or the one you see when you play the song? You may just need to edit the song info. If the songs on your computer have the wrong albums, then iTunes will conform the song files on your iPod to match the wrong info of the songs on your computer every time you sync.

How can you scan those vinyl album covers?

I used a scanner to scan the vinyl album covers, but it showed half of the cover. Are there any ways to scan the whole cover?

You can take it to a store (Kinko’s, or most printing store) with large format scanner and they should be able to scan the whole thing for you. Or take a picture – put the cover on a nice white background, then crank up the resolution of your digital camera and set your macro. Avoid direct flash. You should be able to get great details as well. And if nothing else and if you are good at Photoshop, do the old school way – scan half at a time then combine them :D

What can i do with old album covers?

I’m trying to do a piece of artwork or collage or something for my college dorm room. I have lots of old album covers, but i don’t want to just frame them. Any ideas?

You could punch holes in one the lower left corner of one album then the upper right or left corner of the next album, tie a string through each hole and knot it and continue with a few albums and let it hang down from the ceiling?

Kind of like this effect only with albums…

How to change album covers on your iPod from iTunes?

Posted by admin on August 10th, 2011 and filed under album covers | 1 Comment »

I’ve recently found out the right album cover on some music that I have on unknown album list without an album cover I have the album cover on another song that I bought not too long ago. I want to know if you can change album covers and how.

You can highlight the song (or songs), and then:

right click and select "get Info". There’s a tab at the end that says "artwork" or "album artwork"; you can pick the album artwork from a file on your computer from there

    OR

if you have a later version of iTunes you can display the album art on the lower left corner of iTunes and just copy and paste the album art there using right-click or click-and-drag

How do i frame lp records and the album covers without using glue and ruining them?

Posted by admin on June 21st, 2011 and filed under album covers | 1 Comment »

i am planning a birthday present for my dad and i have came to an issue….i want to frame the old lps and album covers but dont know what i should use on them because i dont want to glue them and ruin them and i dont want to use thumbtacks becasue those just look tacky so does anyone have any ideas?

Get matt board at the craft store. It comes in a bunch of different colors. trace around what you want to frame and cut it out of the matt board. Use an X-acto or razor knife to cut it. Put a full sheet of matt board behind it. Glue the two pieces of matt board together. Put the LP or album cover into the hole you cut out. This will sandwich the LP or album cover between the matt board and the glass from the frame. The hole you cut out will keep the LP from moving around.

Can you add album covers to the ipod touch 4th gen?

Posted by admin on January 22nd, 2011 and filed under album covers | 2 Comments »

I’ve put on some albums I have and some do not load with album covers, is there any way I can add photos to the albums myself?

I’m having ipod touch 3rd gen and i wonder this works for 4th gen. This is what i did for 3rd gen.
Before you sync your library to your ipod using Itunes, right-click on a song in your library you want to add album cover and select get info. You will see a window with tabs like info, lyrics, artwork. Select artwork and click add. Then select the album cover that you want to add.
If you are lazy to click here and there, just simply drag the album cover from where it is in your computer to the artwork space shown at the bottom left of itunes when you left click the song.
If you had already sync the song into your ipod, connect your ipod and perform the first method above in ipod touch, not library. (Under device, your connected ipod will be shown. Click on your ipod and open the folder "songs".)

How do you put album covers within the MP3 file?

Posted by admin on December 27th, 2010 and filed under album covers | 1 Comment »

    Hey there,
I’ve been making my own music for some time now and I am having trouble adding my album covers to my songs. I know I can do it through iTunes but will that add them to the MP3 file so as to use outside of an iPod of just like through WMP12? If that doesn’t do what I want, are there any other solutions?
