In my itunes library for most of the songs I have the album artwork and it comes up for it. However, when I try to sync these onto my ipod only some of the artwork is put onto my ipod yet some of it doesn’t sync onto it. My sister and I use the same library and the artwork syncs fine onto hers.
Why isn’t all of the artwork being put onto my ipod?
Mine did that for a while.
Go On Music — Then Albums with the artwork — then right click on the album and it has the Information like Album Name + Stuff where album artwork and double click choose the photo then ok.
Problem Solved. Hopefully.
I’m referring to the Complete Set Album available on iTunes called: iTunes Essentials Arctic Monkeys/The Last Shadow Puppets.
And I’m wondering if the album has all of the Arctic Monkey’s songs?
Zombie ;], so which of the songs from that immense list aren’t included?
no it doesn’t, not if you count their b-sides, demos, new material.. etc.
their songs are: (i’ve starred the ones which are included in the itunes playlist)
whatever people say i am, that’s what i’m not:
- the view from the afternoon*

- fake tales of san francisco*
- dancing shoes*
- you probably couldn’t see for the lights, but you were staring straight at me
- still take you home*
- riot van*
- when the sun goes down*
- from the ritz to the rubble*
- a certain romance*

I dont use itunes. I also dont want to have to go album by album. Is there a way to just do all of my mp3s at once?
Place all your music by albums then place them in folders inside a main music folder then place the album art inside the album folders with the music then go to windows media player and then add the main music folder you created to the list of "watched" folders in Windows Media Player. When you tell the media player to add the new (main) music folder to your library it will automatically import the pictures too and place them as album art for each album. Remember each album must have its only folder inside the main folder.

all the apps ive found suck, hard.
i am seriously considering outsourcing this to india… but how?
any thoughts would be appreciated.
i have over 6000 songs, of which ~85% do not have album covers.
The two ways I know of are these:
1. Right click the song(s) in Itunes and select Get album art. If it is available it will find it.
2. Media Monkey is a free program that I have had success with, it does however use amazon.com to find album art, so if amazon doesn’t have the artwork then it won’t find it either.
Some items you will just have to manually find the artwork online and copy and paste it into itunes for the track(s).
Of course there are many different genres of music, so person preference will play a factor. I recently bought Journey’s Greatest Hits. I don’t really like them but it is a great album. Then there is Aerosmith. Every other album they put out is a Greatest Hits. There are very few band that can put out a greatest hits and all the track are top 10 singles. So what’s the best?
I have Journey’s Greatest Hits album. one of the best
I might recommend the Doors Greates Hits as well as Steely Dan’s
Also – Prince – The Hits and The B Sides
