I am trying to get the new Red Hot Chili Peppers album. Every time I try to download it, it makes me fill out some sort of dumb survey. Use mediafire.. it comes with album art 9 times out of 10, but if it doesn’t, you could always get it off of google.

I don’t want to put my album in iTunes because I want people to be able to get it for free, is there any site where I can do that, I don’t want to make people pay for my album, please help

I would recommend putting it on iTunes for publicity, and maybe a little money on the side. People are greedy, and many will download illegally anyway. If you want to give it out for free, maybe pass out to a select few at concerts?

Preferably jamband type stuff. Donovan Frankenreiter, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, String Cheese, Yonder Mountain, etc

The only one that comes to mind is Nine Inch Nails. They offer their last two albums as free downloads ("The Slip" and "Ghosts"). If you’re looking for lighter stuff then The Slip might be a little heavy at times, but Ghosts has a lot of lighter tracks (it’s all instrumental).
