Can you recommend classical music album for my wedding breakfast?

Hi there, I need some help. I am looking for around 2.5 to 3 hours of classical music that can be played in the background while people are eating. I know nothing about classical music except that I play Classic FM on the radio to help me sleep sometimes and I love it. I’d like something romantic and pretty that would suit being played in the background. Can you recommend an album, collection or compilation? I’d be very grateful if you could!

You are wanting background music…nothing that is going to draw attention to itself or drown out the conversation.

I am taking an interest in classical music. What album would be recommend as a kind of beginners intro? I am looking for an album with the most popular pieces of music by various artists. In other words, a ‘best of’ album.
Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Go to your local music store and ask. Or just go to Barnes and Nobles and look for any Best of whatevers. You might want to start with Mozart and Beethoven since those two are the most popular. Also look into Chopin and Debussy

Not Sure whether to change the Now That’s What I Call Music album Cover’s?

What I mean by this is that I have a few Now That’s What I Call Music Album Covers and I don’t know whether to change them to the specific albums which the songs come from. Thanks.

If your talking about the album cover on iTunes then yeah defintily change them. It looks nicer in my opinion then a "Now That’s What I Call Music" cover.

I’m a musician and I was just wondering how to copyright my music.
Does it cost money to do it?
How would I benefit from it?
How does it work?

there are so many costs in copyrighting, publishing , engineering, producing, recording, music.
cost of gear, recording equipment and time, lights, sounf gear
and that is why I am so against all the pirates that seem to think musicians should play for peanuts.
most musicians never recover their expenses, so the few that do, should be able to read the rewards.

what are the young musicians these days supposed to do?

When a developer claims their video game has sold a million copies, do they mean that a million copies were sold to retailers (such as GameStop or Best Buy), or that 1 million customers bought the game?

Same thing with album sales. When an artist goes platinum (1 million sold), does it mean that a million of his/her albums were shipped to retailers (such as … Wal-Mart?) or a million people bought them?

probably RETAIL sales to actual end-users – at least with music – sound scan tracks all that because of the gold and platinum record data needed

Like the album "The Marshall Mathers LP" by Eminem, or the album "The Xero Theory LP" by Linkin Park. And yeah I’ve seen another form of shortcut, like "Hybrid Theory EP" by Linkin Park.

So if anyone of you knows what those short terms mean, I’ll be thankful for the answer.

By digital you mean an mp3 album? Yes as soon as you buy it, you’ll be able to download it to your computer and then you can copy it to your mp3 player.
