I sure hope so!!! The arists now days have no talent and no creativity. They are all wannabes and copycats! It’s almost embarrassing that the music/stuff they release is considered an “art”. I don’t think so!!!

Oh, I agree. I know …
Oh, I agree. I know for a fact that an artist like Al does this for the love and respect of music.
It’s sad that artists like him have such a hard time making a comeback, when the industry as a whole is a wreck!
However, here’s hoping that a new page is being turned, and that we are getting back to what’s real.
October 26th, 2009 at 3:06 pm
Yeah but your …
Yeah but your overlooking a few facts. Hes been active in the industry for decades now and I’m positive he knows the ramifications of an artist being out of the spotlight for so long, a come back is almost impossible. Also I’m sure he see’s the void in music today that seems to be filled with nothing but cornballs and cheap imitators. All I know is he more than likely made this album for his loyal fans that have been waiting for this, So I kinda doubt he did it just for the money and fame.

Here’s hoping it makes some noise out there.

I agree. That R&B …
I agree. That R&B statement had me laughin’, but at the same I’m asking, is this what the music industry has come to? The main reason the industry is in the state that it’s in, because many of those that are in charge, know NOTHING about music. Then they put out these fly by night songs by these fly by night artists, and feed to this younger generation, and they eat it up because they don’t know any better.
Also, what’s sad is, this album won’t get a lot of promotion…

Man he did his …
Man he did his thing on that MJ song!!!!
October 26th, 2009 at 3:06 pm
I don’t know? If …
I don’t know? If this type of music blends in with the rest of the music it will still seem like garbage because the decades of good music are gone. Music is too industry and money driven so they will always cater to the younger crow and give them the what the GZA called (R&B) Rap and Bullshit that is out now. To counter that NEO Soul came out which is what this is but the artists don’t like that name. that so there is no real genre for this or places to listen to this other than if you buy it

Ladies and …
Ladies and Gentlemen, could it be true that we are beginning to see yet another shift in music?
Could it be that the industry is beginning to see that it’s time to get back to what’s real?
First Maxwell, now Al B? I sense a trend forming.
